HC Standard^®

HC Standard^® is designed for providing rapid and secure status tracking and resource management from any location in the world. HC Standard^®, built with MCIMS^® technology, helps organizations at all levels manage critical resources, not only when emergencies arise, but in their day-to-day operations. Engineered with a high level of built-in flexibility, the HC Standard^® system is suitable for any market and can be adapted "on-the-fly" to meet changing requirements without the need for costly (and often unavailable) programmer involvement.

Mapping Extension
HC Standard's^® Mapping Extension allows users to geo-locate their critical physical assets using the latest satellite mapping technologies from our partner, ESRI (developers of the world's leading GIS technology). Decisions can be made within seconds about where to send patients, first responders, evacuees, passengers,or virtually any other trackable entity. Anything with known map coordinates can be shown in its real-time location and can be viewed in a dynamic environment as its position changes over time. Status changes are viewed directly on the map and update dynamically as changes occur in the database. Custom icons and scrollable details permit a single screen view of virtually any information associated with a displayed item or entity. With HC Standard^® Dynamic Mapping Extension, the business of knowing your business just got a lot easier!

Forms Extension
HC Standard's^® Forms Extension allows clients to use PDF documents to update the information in the system using familiar and/or custom built forms. Remote users can electronically update and submit data securely using an Adobe^® PDF form. The forms can even be printed and faxed for use in briefings or for distribution to approved third parties who are not active on the HC Standard^®system. Users can convert existing forms or build them from scratch. With a simple Internet connection, users with appropriate permissions can enter data directly into HC Standard^® using a familiar forms-based interface from remote locations anywhere in the world.

Handheld Extension
HC Standard's^® Handheld Extension provides a convenient and reliable way for first responders, technicians, and field agents to gather vital data and instantaneously communicate to colleagues and subject matter experts in single or multiple static locations. Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), corporate headquarters, military command locations, and medical facilities can see and manage data in real-time as it is submitted from the field. Supporting a wide variety of portable devices such as PDAs, Tablet PCs, Laptops, and even vehicle mounted PCs, the HC Standard^® Handheld extension can provide specific and reliable information to those who need to manage disasters and other highly chaotic events. Barcodes, photographs, radio communications, and status information can be uploaded instantly from the field using a variety of communications methods. Preparedness (Training and Exercise)

Global Emergency Resources (GER) personnel have designed and conducted exercises for some of the nation's largest organizations. We rigorously apply Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) standards to all of our programs and are National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliant. GER's combined use of Expert Trainers and state-of-the-art Tools will satisfy the Joint Commission's (JCAHO) requirement for annual preparedness exercises. With our certified Master Exercise Practitioners (MEPs) and our HC Standard^® software, our team helps you comply with your annual accreditation requirements for discussion based exercises or operation based exercises.

Tabletop Exercises
Global Emergency Resource's Training and Exercise Team conducts exercises that facilitate the analysis of any emergency situation. In an informal and stress-free environment, participants practice resolving problems based on existing plans with GER personnel helping to identify and record any needed changes or process improvements.

Functional Exercises
Global Emergency Resource's Training and Exercise Team conducts operation based exercises that are time-pressured, interactive, and realistic. These exercises test the capability of an organization to respond to a fully simulated event. We are also able to test multiple agency functions in a coordinated response as desired or directed. Exercises that simulate a real event as closely as possible. We will help mobilize all of an organization's resources to evaluate and test the operational capability of the organization's emergency management systems under a highly stressful and extremely realistic environment.
