Over 150,000 attended the three-day Indy Car Race on the downtown streets in heart of Baltimore, Maryland.

"The Region III Health and Medical Committee, a sub- committee of the Region III UASI, successfully deployed the EPTS system for the Inaugural 2011 Baltimore Grand Prix. The system, in conjunction with HC standard, provided situational awareness to all parties involved from EMS to Public Health to Hospitals. The program provided real time situational updates as patients were scanned, triaged, and transported from one site to another. The application provided maps showing where patients were in real time, as well as what facilities they went to, who they were transported by, interventions that were performed, and demographic information."   MIEMSS Executive Director's Report February 2012

HC Standard® was used to support the operations of the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS) and the Johns Hopkins Hospital in triage, treatment and tracking of 128 medical cases by the mobile medical response units and medical treatment tents.
